Travel Details
With guests travelling from many different places we have found it better to allow our guests the flexibility to find the best and the cheapest way of getting to Chamonix themselves. Fly into Geneva, Switzerland, the closest airport and we will pick you up and transport you to the chalet. Flights are frequent and provided by many airlines.
Some guests prefer to make a week with 10fifty part of a longer European vacation and may drive or even use the excellent French railways to get to Chamonix. Talk to the office and we will be happy to advise on the best ways and provide directions.
Our accompanying booking form contains the small print of the holidays. Click here to see prices and availablility. If you do not have a booking form or you need more information please contact the office by telephone on +44 (0) 7803 581132, or email and we will be happy to help you out.

Driving from England is an option for many guests. It is over 500 miles from Calais to Chamonix, and whilst the traffic on the autoroutes is generally light, the tolls and fuel adds up. Talk to the office and we can provide you with directions and a map. Remember that a warning triangle, spare bulbs and first aid kit are compulsory in your car, or you could get in trouble. The speed limit on the autoroute is 130kph in the dry and 110kph in the wet.
